Cynthia L. Green, PhD
Director, Data Management and Biostatistics
Cynthia L Green, PhD, is an assistant professor of biostatistics and bioinformatics at Duke University School of Medicine and a biostatistics faculty member of the Duke Clinical Research Institute (DCRI). She is currently the Director of Data Management and Biostatistics for the Core Lab at DCRI.
Dr. Green earned her BS in mathematics from Duke University and her MS and PhD in statistics from North Carolina State University . She has more than 15 years of experience in clinical trial design and analysis. For seven years, she served as co-director of the DCRI Ischemia Monitoring Core Laboratory. Under her guidance, the lab conducted clinical trials research for treatment regimens using continuous ECG monitoring technology.
Dr. Green has published extensively as both a primary author and co-author of medical and statistical literature. She has expertise in survival analysis with missing data, clinical trials analyses and biomarker analyses. She has applied novel statistical methodology for missing data in survival analysis to actual ECG data analysis conditions. Dr. Green is a member of numerous professional organizations and committees, including the American Statistical Association and the Society for Clinical Trials. |
