Mitchell Krucoff, MD, FACC, FCCP
Director, Cardiac Safety ECG Services
Dr. Krucoff joined the cardiology faculty at Duke University Medical Center in 1988. He is a tenured professor of medicine and cardiology, a member of the Duke senior interventional cardiology staff, and director of the Cardiovascular Laboratories at the Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He is director of the Cardiovascular Devices Unit at the DCRI, and a member of the Circulatory Devices Panel, which advises the Center for Devices and Radiological Health at the FDA. Dr. Krucoff is co-director of the Cardiac Safety Research Consortium, a joint initiative with Duke University and the FDA. He is founder of the Ischemia Monitoring Laboratory and is currently the Director of Cardiac Safety ECG Services for the Core Lab at DCRI.
Dr. Krucoff's areas of clinical practice, research activities and publications include strategies of elective and acute coronary revascularization; high-risk revascularization; diagnosis and interventions in acute coronary syndromes; complementary therapies and spirituality applications in high-tech cardiovascular care. |
