May 9, 2014 – The ASCI is dedicated to the advancement of research that extends understanding and improves the treatment of human diseases
Drs. Eric Velazquez and Michael Felker were recently inducted into the American Society for Clinical Investigation (ASCI). The ASCI is dedicated to the advancement of research that extends understanding and improves the treatment of human diseases, and its members are committed to mentoring future generations of physician-scientists. Because members must be 50 years of age or younger at the time of their election, membership reflects accomplishments by its members relatively early in their careers.
The Association of American Physicians and the ASCI held a joint meeting in Chicago recently and inducted several new members into their prestigious groups. Congratulations to Michael Felker, MD, MHS, Professor of Medicine in Cardiology, and Eric Velazquez, MD, Professor of Medicine in Cardiology for this great honor!
