As a DCRI Clinical Research Associate and core member of the Duke Implementation Science Collaborative, Lisa Monk, MSN, RN, CPHQ, is a leading quality improvement, education, and implementation science expert with a proven track record as a change agent for state and national systems implementation work in acute heart attack, cardiac arrest, and stroke care. With over 35 years of experience, she leads faculty, healthcare workers, administrators, professional organizations, and survivors in advocating for crucial systematic changes within the healthcare industry to enhance patient care and outcomes. Monk utilizes her 20 years of clinical research experience, a master’s degree in nursing, and background as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality to improve the design and operational execution of implementation projects at the DCRI.
