Marc Ingham brings legal acumen and strategic insight to his role as the DCRI Contracts Director.
As the leader of the DCRI Contracts group, Ingham sets the overarching strategy and goals and collaborates with the DCRI Senior Management Team and faculty to ensure that priorities align with the organization’s mission. Ingham serves as a trusted advisor on complex legal matters, working closely with DCRI functional groups and leadership. He collaborates with government and industry sponsors to ensure timely and efficient negotiations.
Ingham ensures that all agreements adhere to university policies while maintaining legal soundness. As an expert resource, Ingham guides the DCRI Contracts team through negotiations, fostering process improvement initiatives.
Ingham joined the DCRI as a Staff Attorney in 2004, where he honed his legal acumen. Over the years, Ingham assumed increasingly senior roles, including senior attorney, manager, assistant director, and associate director. In his role as director, he orchestrates strategic vision, legal compliance, and financial stewardship for the contracts group.
Ingham holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) from West Virginia University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of North Carolina – Wilmington.
