Patty McAdams is a clinical research professional with approximately 30 years of experience. She leads the Research Communications and Engagement team at the Duke Clinical Research Institute (DCRI). Patty is committed to providing strategic research communications and engagement support. She leads teams in developing print and digital assets for participants, communities, and research sites taking part in clinical trials, registries, and networks. Patty has expertise in plain-language principles, project management, strategic communications, and organic/paid social media. She enjoys working with research teams to support the enrollment of diverse and inclusive study populations as well as identifying goals, strategies, audiences, tactics, channels, and indicators of success. Patty is certified by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals as a Clinical Research Associate and a Goodmon Leadership Fellow.
