Carolyn Moore Arias, MPH, serves as Director of Industry Partnerships & Strategic Programs at the Duke Clinical Research Institute (DCRI), where she leads industry partnerships, business development, strategic account management, and research growth initiatives. She works closely with faculty and executive leadership to identify emerging opportunities, shape research growth strategy, and build partnerships that advance DCRI's scientific impact and clinical research portfolio.

Arias has played a key role in expanding DCRI's approach to sponsor engagement, developing new models for strategic collaboration and early scientific exchange that strengthen relationships with industry partners and accelerate the development of innovative research programs. She also helped establish DCRI's strategic collaboration with IQVIA to advance research in obesity and related cardiometabolic conditions.

Prior to joining the DCRI, Arias held leadership positions at Biogen, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and IQVIA (formerly Quintiles). Arias holds a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
