Casey Norris, MS, is a Senior Project Leader within the CSI+ group at Duke Clinical Research Institute, with a particular focus on project management and operations for Clinical Events Classification (CEC) and Arrhythmia Core Lab (ACL) activities. He has 15 years of experience in clinical research, including CEC, ACL, and multimodality imaging. He has worked in numerous therapeutic areas, including cardiology, electrophysiology, neurology, nephrology, infectious disease, and immunology. Casey is skilled in all facets of clinical research project management and coordination, namely budget and scope generation, trial start-up procedures, oversight and maintenance of study processes and deliverables, customer/partner relations and communication, and mentorship and management of internal team members.

Prior to his work in clinical research, Casey was a clinical exercise physiologist at Duke Medical Center, where he provided both inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular and pulmonary testing for all ranges of clinical cardiology and pulmonology patients.  He has a Master of Science in Exercise & Sport Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
