Dawn Rabineau, BS, RDCS, is a Senior Project Leader for the CSI+ Imaging Core Lab and applies her expertise to select Arrhythmia Core Lab projects. She has been with Duke for over 20 years, gaining clinical experience in the Duke University Health System (DUHS) and participating in cardiovascular imaging and research at the Duke Clinical Research Institute (DCRI).
Rabineau began her career as an adult cardiac sonographer at DUHS, where she also engaged in secondary research. In 2005, she contributed to the first Echo Core Lab project and has been an integral part of the Imaging Core Lab ever since. Rabineau served as a Lead Sonographer for four years before transitioning into project management. In her role as Lead Sonographer, she was responsible for determining case report form (CRF) variables, creating image acquisition protocols that closely aligned with sponsor requirements, and training site sonographers. In her current position, Rabineau has extensive experience creating sponsor budgets, overseeing project start-ups, managing projects, and collaborating with sponsors. She has worked on both industry and government trials and is regarded as a subject matter expert on all echo imaging software platforms.
