Rachel Randell, MD, MSCR
Rachel Randell, MD, MSCR, is an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Rheumatology, at Duke University Medical Center and a member of the Duke Clinical Research Institute. She completed her pediatrics residency at Duke, where she developed an interest in pediatric rheumatology, and went on to pursue additional training in clinical pharmacology, earning a Master of Science in Clinical Research from UNC-Chapel Hill. Her research examines why children and adolescents with rheumatologic diseases, particularly lupus, vary in their response to treatment, as well as strategies to improve medication adherence among young patients.
