Samia Aleem, MD, MHS
Samia Aleem, MD, MHS, is an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology, at Duke University Medical Center, where she also serves as associate program director of the Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship and is a member of the Duke Clinical Research Institute. She received her medical degree from Sindh Medical University in Pakistan, completed her pediatrics residency in Philadelphia, and trained in neonatal-perinatal medicine at Duke. Her research uses large database analyses to improve outcomes for vulnerable infants, with particular focus on bronchopulmonary dysplasia and other respiratory and gastrointestinal complications of prematurity.
