Krista Camuglia, RN, BSN, CCRC, is the Research Practice Manager at the Duke Heart Center Clinical Research Unit, where she oversees clinical research operations, trial management, and regulatory compliance. During her 14 years at the Duke Heart Center, Krista has built extensive expertise across various cardiology research modalities, including device studies, pharmaceutical trials, investigator-initiated projects, and stem cell research. Her nursing background in cardiology has provided a strong foundation for her current leadership position, where she is honored to contribute to medical advancements and improving patients' lives. Outside of her professional work at Duke, Krista enjoys spending quality time with her family, pursuing her passion for baking cupcakes, and volunteering at Saving Grace Animals for Adoption.
